Healing for the Heart is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our Board.

About the Role:
As a Trustee, you will help shape the strategic direction of Healing for the Heart, ensure strong governance to make sure the charity remains true to its mission and values. This voluntary role is ideal for individuals passionate about mental health and emotional well-being who want to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities:
- Attending (in-person/online) and actively contributing to 5 board meetings per annum and the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in person.
- Providing strategic guidance and oversight, ensuring Healing for the Heart continues to deliver high-quality support in line with its charitable objectives.
- Offering challenge, support and scrutiny to ensure strong governance, effective risk management, and financial sustainability.
- Compliance to ensure the organisation adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of accountability and transparency.
- Acting as an ambassador for the organisation, helping to raise awareness and promote our work externally.
